Welcome + Introduction

Welcome to your Artist's Way Creative Cluster information center.

We are thrilled you have committed to this adventure of creative recovery and self-discovery. Thanks to Julia Cameron, author of The Artist's Way, we have a powerful workbook to guide us. We will be sharing the experience of reading the book, one chapter per week, and completing the exercises independently.  We come together for the group gathering on Zoom once per week as a "check-in" to simply share our experiences and receive encouragement and support from the group.

Everything you need to complete the work of this course is included in the book, The Artist's Way, available through any online bookstore and most retail ones.

Emails from this portal will serve as your reminders and provide accountability through an online "check-in form" created by Nanette Saylor. It is not a requirement of the work for you to complete the form. Some people have found it helpful.

The only other thing you must have to complete the work is something to write on daily. Many of us choose a journal. Julia's original intention is for us to use 8 1/2 x 11" lined notebook paper. I use a standard school-style composition book.

You'll find some resources and the introduction content included here as well.
